How can a compact residential kitchen be transformed into a calm, efficient, and visually expansive space?
The primary challenge was to design a modern kitchen within a linear footprint while maintaining openness and functional clarity. Storage density, lighting balance, and seamless circulation needed to be resolved without visual clutter. The space also required a neutral, timeless character suited to long-term residential use.
Solutions
A restrained, material-led kitchen that balances efficiency with visual calm.
The design adopts a soft neutral palette, handle-less cabinetry, and integrated lighting to create a clean, continuous visual language. Upper glass cabinets introduce depth and subtle display without overpowering the space. Warm under-cabinet and plinth lighting enhance spatial perception while reinforcing functional zones.
